I’ve learned something over the years community doesn’t just happen. It’s built. It’s nurtured. And sometimes, it’s something you have to intentionally step into, even when it feels uncomfortable.
There have been seasons in my life where I felt like I had to figure everything out on my own. Running a business, navigating challenges at home, supporting clients, and managing my own growth it can feel isolating. And yet, every time I chose to lean into community instead of pulling away, something shifted. I gained perspective. I found encouragement. I realized I didn’t have to carry everything by myself.
That’s why I surround myself with community. Not because life is easy, but because it isn’t. Community reminds me that we are not alone in our struggles, our growth, or our purpose. It gives us space to be seen for who we are not just what we do. It challenges us, supports us, and sometimes gently calls us forward when we forget what we’re capable of.
And it’s also why I create community. Because I know what it feels like to need one.
Through Women on the Rise and partnerships like the Women of the World Network, I’ve had the opportunity to bring women together not just to network, but to connect in a deeper way. To share stories. To learn from one another. To build something that extends beyond a single event. These spaces aren’t about being perfect or having it all together—they’re about showing up as you are and growing from there.
On April 25th, we’re gathering again for the Women of the World Networking Summit in Hawaiʻi a space designed for connection, inspiration, and real conversations that matter. If you’ve been looking for a place to plug in, to be supported, or to simply be in a room where people understand your journey, I invite you to join us.

Because the truth is, community isn’t just something we attend.
It’s something we build together.
